After Dinner Party
Teryl Rothery, Don Davis, and Peter Williams visit with fans in an intimate setting. Peter took a spin as DJ while fans danced the night away.

01DS2826dal Teryl is such a sweetheart. When it was my turn for a quick photo op, she immediately snuggles right up to me and mugs for the camera. I can't tell you how much more they mean to me than the official photos, even though I still buy those, too. She just gives and gives. 02DS2836dal The only way I could get enough light for good pics was to use the flash. I'd been avoiding it since mine is blinding and it produces the always annoying red-eye. But Teryl looks so cute in her 03DS2838dal I took the chance to ask Don about something that I found curious. I'd always heard how cut-throat the acting business is, with huge backstage dramas. Everyone from Stargate that I'd had the chance to meet, though, seemed genuinely nice and to enjoy working with eveyrone else on the show so I was wondering if maybe the stereotype was exactly that rather than reality. Don was quick to say that it *is* common in acting to have unpleasant coworkers but that the spirit on the Stargate set directly reflected on RDA, who insists on working with people he likes. 04DS2840dal You can see why I used a flash for the dessert photography... 05DS2842dal I know it was unpleasant but the resulting pic was so much better! 06DS2851dal This is one of the women who sat at our table. I took some pics of her with the guests at both dessert and breakfast using my camera since I seemed incapable of using hers to take anything but blurry ones. I failed, however, to get her name and e-mail address. Doh! If anyone knows it, PLEASE tell me since I have pics to send to her. 07DS2852dal I had to stand on my tip toes to seem so tall. 08DS2859dal Joe took a couple shots of the dancing. He's a much better, steadier photographer than I. I take comfort that his shots are as grainy and blurry as mine. ;-) 09DS2860dal As you can see, Peter Williams DJ'ed for us. He chose a selection of music from Jamaica and many of us had lots of fun dancing late into the night.
