1TAfromL1 Tony kicks off the convention as the first guest. This was my first time to see him onstage and I left as favorably impressed with him as I have been with every other Stargate actor I've seen. No wonder they get such great acting talent on the show. Everyone is well-gounded and real. -- photo graciously provided by Laurie 1zTAfromL Tony shows off the personalized, satin jacket given to him by a fan. -- photo graciously provided by Laurie 2TA0007 My favorite photos are those that captured genuine moments of happiness with smiling guests. Tony's smile is a particularly nice one and it's a shame that Brat'ac doesn't give the actor many opportunities to show it to Stargate fans. The gift jackets were fortuitous since Tony came onstage and immediately remarked on how chilly it was. 3TA0008 Modeling the jacket 3TAfromL A fellow fan provided black satin jackets with logos from local transit authorities and colorful patches, each one personalized with guest's name. Tony looks pleased with his, pointing out his name embroidered on the chest.

Tony got the audience laughing with a deadpan look and said, 11TA0018 12TA0019c There are three kinds of staff weapons they use on Stargate: rubber ones for fight scenes, stiff ones for carrying, and the operational ones that pop open and fire a charge. The props people go to great pains to remind guest stars and extras that working staff weapons must first be opened and *then* fired or else they're destroyed. Inevitably, the newcomer is starting to get irked by the third reminder -- and just as inevitably they fail to remember to open it first and countless numbers of staff weapons have met their untimely demise by being fired prior to housing being opened. 13aTAfromL Tony has enjoyed a varied career and prizes a photo taken during the filming of
