Speaking of those, what is with the never-ending parade of ugly wigs? Why not let the woman wear her own hair? 8RL1812 Look how much prettier she is in the most casual of clothes when you can see her face! I wonder if Teyla would 9RL1814 I suspect that Rachel hardly knows what to make of the extreme interest in taking her picture. 10RL1815 Asked, repeatedly, what her favorite SG-1 episode is, Rachel demures and refuses to pick one. I wanted to throttle the folks who kept asking. The woman lives in Canada, where SG-1 has a lag time of YEARS, and if she's like 99% of young actresses working to make a name for herself, she probably doesn't have money lying around to spend on cable or satellite television. Rachel will eventually learn convention survival, though, by picking an episode that's generally agreed as being good and having a couple of nice things to say about it. ;-) 11RL1817 Rachel comments that she comes from a very creative family and says something about everyone singing, which immediately leads to requests for her to sing something. (Bet she's learned not to say that again!} After much back and forth, she sings a few bars of 12RL1819 Rachel responds that she loves being the first female warrior on Stargate (uhm, just to remind the fan...except for Ishta and her people? Or Sam? I know her scene in Emancipation wasn't done well, but still...) and that she has been enjoying the physical work necessary to portray a convincing Teyla. 13RL1820 How would Teyla change if she had Rachel's personality instead? She wouldn't be as assertive and self-confident. It's something Rachel likes about Teyla and hopes to incorporate into herself.
