15MS1644 OK, Michael wants to start the Q&A. 015MSfromL Another angle, he might be holding that microphone in front of his smile from where I was but from Laurie's angle you can still see it. -- photo graciously provided by Laurie 16MS1645 Alas, the cameras are still whirring. 17MS1646 Michael strikes this pose in response to a shouted request for him to flex for us. 19MS1650 OK, fine. We're insatiable and Michael decides to push on with his Q&A. 21MS1652 He begins by joking that he isn't going to make us do all that, 23MS1654 He focuses on the fan as the question is asked and as he answers, making it all warmly personal. 24MS1655 Michael smiles as he talks to the audience. He gets a kick out of playing with fans takes pictures by raising and lowering the mic, the scamp. 25MS1656 Several of the first few fans to talk to Michael made it a point to tell him much they appreciated him and Michael is feeling the love. 26MS1657 Look at that smile! Is it any wonder that one fan became a bit flustered at one point and forgot her question? 27MS1658 Michael is so touched by the warm reception that he rashly declares he'd like to take us all home. Fortunately, he can fall back on the wife and has to allow that he'd better call her first. 28MS1659 Michael's body language still strongly says to me that he isn't 100% comfortable being on stage as himself, though he does not let that stop him from giving a great performance and leaving fans very happy. Makes me appreciate all the more everything he does for the fans. 29MS1660 He does figure out early on, though, that this is a very friendly crowd that likes him and that wants to play. I think he got more comfortable as the panel progressed and he realized that we were happily deficient in humor-impaired types. 30MS1661 Shallow moment alert! The shirt, the fit of the jeans, his smile... 31MS1662 Another fan introduces his question by stating that Michael is the best actor (of our times? of his generation?) and asks him about his facial expressions and Michael responds with something like,
