Steveston, B.C. (a.k.a. Steveston, Oregon): Of course I had to visit the museum. Not a whole lot but they preserved some early living quarters that were vaguely interesting if not particularly enlightening. I've already forgotten most of the details, but there was a vault of sorts here (bank? for valuable mail packages?) and someone lived on the premises to provide security. These days, it's a post office and museum.
