Blink and you'll miss it as we drive through the public park that surrounds this restaurant perched high atop Burnaby Mountain. 2SL403.641004-15 Horizons Restaurant, a.k.a. O'Malley's: Luckily, we had planned to pick up a rent car after Gatecon for our trip to Vancouver Island. We quickly slotted in a return visit to Horizons and its intriguing park. Ironically, when it came time to photograph after dinner it was starting to rain so I had to take the picture from inside the car. Doh! 5SL403.1371 Inside of Horizons Restaurant, a.k.a. O'Malley's: Where Jack, Sam, and Daniel go to eat their multiple steaks and Sam sips on her Diet Coke. :) We ate here and I highly recommend the place. Creative, flavorful food, wonderful views, and an excellent park all around the restaruant. We had an excellent time. 6SL403.1359 Horizons Restaurant, a.k.a. O'Malley's: Canadian flag and plantings in the center of the circle drive outside the restaurant. You can see 7SL403.1360 Burnaby Mountain (Kamui Mintara): Playground of the Gods. Appropriate name for the place chosen as the planet where Apophis is building his new vessel, no? The team, minus Teal'c, exit the Stargate at the base of this incline and wreak havoc on the defending Jaffa during their sprint uphill to the ship under construction. 8SL403.641002-16A Burnaby Mountain (Kamui Mintara): Playground of the Gods. Lovely mountains visible across Burrard Inlet (?). 9SL403.641002-24A Burnaby Mountain (Kamui Mintara): Playground of the Gods.
